Whether you are planning a sunny summer or rich winter wedding, it’s really important to consider every element – from colours, to entertainment, to the type of food you offer. This can really help create a special and memorable day. Here are a few starting points for the four seasons which will hopefully get the ball rolling and inspire…
Winter wonderland…. Don’t think that a winter wedding doesn’t mean colour – this season showcases deep rich colours such as mulberry, ivy green and deep reds. Using velvety, silky and luxurious materials can create a dramatic and sumptuous effect. Keeping it seasonal also means you have can have the perfect wintery shades. Winter flowers like amaryllises, winter jasmines and heathers mixed with foliage such as ivy and holly can create a really textured and unusual bouquet. Decorate with fairy lights and candles the ambient light will reflect your colour palette and create extra atmosphere.

Summer celebrations…. The great thing about a summer wedding is the promise of balmy, dreamy evenings for celebrating outdoors – whether in a marquee or on the terrace of a stately home, you can do something a little more daring!
